David Kirby is a poet and scholar. Among his numerous awards, he has won four Pushcart Prizes, an NEA fellowship, and a Guggenheim Fellowship. His book reviews can frequently be found in the New York Times. He currently teaches at Florida State University.

Mr. Kirby’s poem “Faith” appeared in Volume 25.1, Indiana Review’s special twenty-fifth anniversary issue.
