Marilyn Chin’s books of poems include Rhapsody in Plain Yellow; The Phoenix Gone, the Terrace Empty; and Dwarf Bamboo. She has won many awards for her poetry, including two NEAs, a Fulbright Fellowship, a Stegner Fellowship, and a Lannan Award. She co-directs the M.F.A. program at San Diego State University.

The Indiana Review has published two short fiction pieces by Marilyn Chin: “The Parable of the Fish” in Volume 24.1, and “The Parable of the Cake” in Volume 25.1. The IR also published an interview with her in Volume 26.1.
