Rafael Campo teaches and practices general internal medicine at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. His newest collection of poetry, Landscape with Human Figure, was published in April 2002, and won the Gold Medal from ForeWord in poetry. In August of 2003, W.W. Norton published The Healing Art: A Doctor's Black Bag of Poetry, new essays on poetry and healing. His newest book, The Enemy, will be published in 2007.

The Indiana Review first published poems of Mr. Campo’s in Volume 24.1, which featured “Detour,” “Marilyn in Paris,” and “Postcard from Monaco.” His next poem appeared in Volume 25.1, “The Story of Us.” His work can also be found in our current issue.
