James Brubaker lives with his wife in Oklahoma, where he is currently finishing his PhD in creative writing at Oklahoma State University. His stories have appeared or are forthcoming in journals and magazines including The Normal School, Indiana Review, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Keyhole, The Cupboard, Pear Noir!, The Texas Review, and West Wind Review, among others. James’ prose chapbook, Pilot Season, is forthcoming from sunnyoutside, and he is a music editor for The Fiddleback.
