2015 Fiction Prize Winner:

“Be Tanly”
Simon Han

Laura van den Berg says about the winning piece: “‘Be Tanly’ is my pick for the 2015 Indiana Review Fiction Prize. This story beautifully captures the mythologies families create for themselves, as an attempt to reckon with how they’ve become who they have, and the intricate mysteries coiled inside those we hold closest. Written in sharp, glinting prose, ‘Be Tanly’ is rich with magic, truth, and heartbreak.”

“Grace in the Embers” by Thomas Atkinson

“Come Forth Again Out of the Water” by Caroline Beimford

“Something in You Quiets Something in Me” by Jonathan Durbin

“Tiger by the Toe” by Soma Mei Sheng Frazier
